METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING NONLINEAR RESONANCE IN SERVO SYSTEMS

The article proposes a method for suppressing resonance in nonlinear servo systems. The method is based on the synthesis of a nonlinear control of a special class, for which, if the assumptions made in the harmonic linearization method are valid, there is no connection between the amplitude and phase frequency characteristics of the equivalent transfer function, which allows, at known frequencies of the nonlinear resonance, to construct a control that completely suppresses this phenomenon. The use of a control that has the specified property with an appropriate structure practically does not lead to a change in the dynamic characteristics of the servo system outside a small frequency range, which is the vicinity of the resonant frequency, where the system dynamics is brought into line with the technical task. The proposed control has previously been successfully applied to the suppression of self-oscillations in stabilization systems. This article substantiates its applicability to another class of systems, which allows us to say that this control is applicable to a wider class of systems, namely to control systems. The theoretical assumptions underlying the synthesis of the control of the specifi ed class are verified by the method of mathematical modeling when solving the equations of the tracking system of a radar station. The solutions obtained by the numerical method for systems of differential equations of the object, to which the synthesized control is applied, showed a fairly accurate coincidence with the results obtained for this system by approximate methods of analysis.
