AN APPLICATION OF THE GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR THE FORMING OF THE SPACE LAUNCH VEHICLE PITCH |

Space launch vehicle trajectory optimization allows to save fuel consumption and consequently increase payload. Classical optimization methods are not always able to solve this problem due to multicriteria and constraints. However, the application of the evolutionary optimization methods for such problems are of the great interest. In this paper the application of the genetic algorithm to the optimization launch trajectory for the light launch vehicle is considered. The results of the single solution showed the adequacy of the computed optimal trajectory via genetic algorithm. Moreover, the statistics of the series of numerical experiments showed the same results and the necessity of the additional research of genetic algorithm parameters impact on the accuracy of the optimal solution.
