ROBUSTNESS OF AIRCRAFT TURBOFAN ENGINE CLOSED-LOOP CONTROL SYSTEM WITH NONLINEAR ACTUATOR |

This paper presents aircraft turbofan engine closed-loop control system robustness estimation taking into account the nonlinearity of the actuator. The unambiguous non inertial nonlinearity is approximately replaced by a linear element using harmonic linearization method. The results of proposed technique application for closed-loop control system with electronic digital controller of fan speed, compressor speed and turbine outlet total temperature deviations (the minimal output value is selected) and nonlinear main combustion chamber fuel flow actuator are presented.
