The article presents an analysis of the main directions of ensuring the productivity of automated hydrometeorological support systems operating on computing resources under conditions of inhomogeneous computing load. The main methods of providing performance in computing systems processing meteorological information are described. An approach to organizing the functioning of a computing system is proposed to ensure the required performance for the performance of automated hydrometeorological support systems based on virtualization of the computing infrastructure. An example of a method for processing hydrometeorological information is given.
