CAPABILITIES FOR QUALITATIVE IMPROVEMENT OF FAULT TOLERANCE, RELIABILITY AND RADIATION RESISTANCE OF ONBOARD COMPUTING SYSTEMS |
V.N. Rusanov
The task of achieving high fault tolerance, reliability and radiation resistance of onboard computing systems (BVS) intended for aerospace products operating in harsh operating conditions is always relevant. Failure of BVS, performing the most critical functions of products, can lead to unpredictable consequences. This article discusses the ways to qualitatively improve the reliability, fault tolerance and radiation resistance of UAVs, and also presents some experimental samples of radiation-resistant UAVs, implemented on the domestic element base. A distinctive feature of self-diagnosing computing systems is that after the next self-diagnostics, the value of the availability factor of the self-diagnostics block, which is the main part of the channel, approaches one, and the backup channel will be connected in case of any failure of the operating channel (failure of the calculator, failure of the redundancy device, failure of monitored channel devices, error in solving the diagnostic problem, disruption of communication with the backup channel, interruption of the communication line).
Keywords: on-board computer system, space engineering, aviation engineering, redundancy, element base, structure, reliability, fault tolerance, radiation resistance, self-diagnostics.
