ON THE VECTOR MEASURING CONVERTERS CONSTRUCTION |

The article deals with the issues of vector measuring converters (VMC) constructing in two variants of layout schemes – with discrete sensors and with three-component sensors. The requirements for VMC are given. It is shown that the possible sources of errors in measuring information signals from sensors include different steepness of static characteristics, their nonlinearity, as well as deviations of the sensors’ sensitivity axes from the orthogonal axes of the VMC body. In terms of ensuring high accuracy in determining the required values, it is proposed to correct the numerical values of the measured signals from the sensors in order to "refer" them to the normalized values. To ensure the identity of the steepness of the static characteristics, the scaling factors usage is proposed. With nonlinear static characteristics of the VMC sensors, it is proposed to perform linearization operations using various approximating functions of systematic errors. It is shown that deviations of the sensor sensitivity axes from the axes of the rectangular basis of the VMC body are possible; vectormatrix equations are given, as well as systems of scalar equations that take into account small angles of rotation and ensure the determination of the normalized values of the measured signals. It has been substantiated and proposed to perform the operations of "referring" the numerical values of the measured signals from the VMC sensors in an analytical way with the algorithmic processing of the measurement results.
