METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE COMPARATIVE EXCELLENCE OF AIRCRAFT SURVIVAL AIRCRAFT |

The method of convolution of indicators characterizing the survival of an aircraft in the air through a comparative coeffi cient of superiority is necessary for calculating the quality indicator. The quality indicator determines the superiority of the compared aircraft over the analogue (standard). As an indicator of survival, the probability of overcoming the counteraction of typical air defense systems is used. The calculation of this probability has been adjusted for assessing the properties of a single aircraft as a combat unit against a given operational and tactical background of military operations. Survival characteristics assessed in trials are compared with similar characteristics of a basic aircraft through appropriate coefficients. These coeffi cients determine the presence of a possible decrease in the number of striking shots of counterdefense air defense systems. The operational-tactical background determines the relative number of typical ground-based air defense systems opposing the aircraft of their total composition in the group. As standard means of air defense are taken complexes with different ranges of action and method of guidance. The main calculations of a practical example characterizing the presented method were performed using the Mathcad software environment.
