ASSESSMENT OF INFLUENCE OF SIGNAL FORMING ERROR ON QUALITY OF VARIOUS SPECTRAL IMAGES |

This article shows the features of the conversion of the radiant flux and the formation of signals of different spectral images in the information-measuring systems of spectrozonal television. The concept of the truth of the radiant (light) flux is introduced for each registration zone when they are displayed for visual analysis, as well as the truth of electrical signals for the automatic analysis of multispectral images. The estimation of the error in finding the zonal signals during their formation on the basis of the conversion of the radiant flux and their possible influence on the quality of multispectral images is considered. An allowable error is shown in determining the "true" amplitude values of signals of different spectral images to ensure a given relative error. The error will be maximum when the amplitude values of the original signals of different spectral images decrease. An error in determining the "true" value of the image signal with a positive increment of the error in the form + ΔUc(t)Δλi introduces a smaller error compared to a negative error. The influence of the error in determining the amplitude values of signals on the quality of multispectral images is considered. It is shown that the spectral portrait of objects in images actually reflects the individual distribution of the spectral characteristics of objects, which can be a decreasing, increasing or variable increasing and decreasing sequence of numbers (signals) from individual recording zones in the selected spectral region.
