DEVICE FOR MEASURING THE PARAMETERS OF THE CHAOTIC TECHNOGENIC AND METEORITIC COSMIC PARTICLES AND ITS APPLICATION IN NEAR-EARTH SPACE |

Based on the statistics of spacecraft collisions with small-sized technogenic debris in near-earth space, the article shows the relevance of creating contact onboard detectors to control the small fraction of space debris. The design, operating principle and advantages of the device for spatial registration, measurement of dynamic parameters and non-destructive capture of fine particles are described. According to the data on the quantitative distribution of technogenic debris and its dynamic characteristics in near-earth orbits, as well as the degree of use of certain orbits, conclusions are made about the most rational use of this device for monitoring the debris of near-earth space.
