Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back ION-PLASMA ENGINES FOR MICRO AND NANOSATELLITES O.V. Phylonin The description of the miniature ion-plasma engines developed by authors for Nano satellites of the CubeSat format is provided. As a working body in these engines the mercury ions received as a result of radioactive decay in a mercury-cesium alloy are. Constructions of such engines are described, a method of calculation of parameters of working bodies, methods of mathematical modeling of calculation of key parameters and the main results of the carried-out calculations are given.
