REDUCE THE LIKELIHOOD OF THE PHENOMENON OF ELECTROCHEMICAL MIGRATION IN AVIONICS |

Examines the conditions of emergence of process of electrochemical migration in the conditions of operation of the avionics. Describes the factors affecting the occurrence of the phenomenon of electrochemical migration. Explores the implications of the emergence of the phenomenon of electrochemical migration. The conditions of loss of condensate on the surface of the printed circuit Board. The dependence between ambient temperature, the test temperature and relative humidity environment. Offers conditions to reduce the likelihood of occurrence of the phenomenon of electrochemical migration, leading to failure of insulating structures. Describes the methodology of the experiment to verify the hypothesis on reduction of the probability of occurrence of the phenomenon of electrochemical migration. In conclusion, it is concluded that if, at a certain value of the relative humidity of the environment, to prevent the difference between the ambient temperature and temperature of test fees greater than the value specified in table dew point, the probability of occurrence of the phenomenon of electrochemical migration is greatly reduced.
