COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE LINE OF SIGHT POSITIONING METHODS IN A STATIC TARGETING TASK |

A comparative analysis of the positioning methods of the sight line of the goal is presented in the work. It is reviewed the optical, inertial, hybrid and magnetic methods. The principles of action is described for each method, the evaluation of positioning errors is made. The information is given about the new domestic magnetic method of positioning, which has advantages over foreign analogues. The comparative table of parameters of the considered methods is generalizing of the obtained results. As a result the advantages of active magnetic targeting method before other discussed are shown. The possibility is indicated to create a domestic helmet – mounted targeting system on a magnetic principle, based on the modern knowledge.
