OPTO-ELECTRONIC MONITORING SYSTEM AND EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF IGNITION OF FUEL IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER OF A GAS TURBINE ENGINE |

The article describes the problems with the launch of high-altitude and stable combustion in the combustion chambers of gas turbine engines, associated with the need to follow environmental regulations. Showing the problems associated with the operation of the ignition system, as well as ways and means to solve them with the help of opto-electronic system control and diagnostics. The advantages of opto-electronic system for diagnostics and service life of the ignition unit, bringing it a block diagram and place in the structure of the gas turbine engine assemblies for the solution of problems described. Show schedule and the time the sparks ignite the fuel-air mixture and spectral sensitivity range of photodetectors. The results of the experiment to determine the dependence of the length and shape of the photodetector current spark discharge in the registration and requirements for such equipment.
