A METHOD OF SUPPRESSING NOISE IN COMMUNICATION DEVICES |

The article discusses the digital squelch, which is proposed to use for additional noise attenuation in systems onboard aircraft communication signals using a linear delta modulation (LDM). It explains in detail the principle of selection squelch allowing for the LDM signal. We describe the elements necessary for building the squelch, and is a functional diagram of the device. In general, using the considered squelch also reduces the possibility of self-excitation system, and thus does not introduce appreciable distortion in operation talkies.
