PRACTICAL DEVELOPMENT OF INERTIAL ORIENTATION
AND NAVIGATION SYSTEMS (ISON) BASED ON HEMISPHERICAL
RESONATOR GYROSCOPE FOR HIGHLY MANEUVERABLE AIRCRAFT |

The practical design results of inertial orientation and navigation systems (ISON)
based on hemispherical resonator gyroscope (HRG) are presented. Developed gyroscopes
and accelerometers constructions used in aforementioned ISON are
shown as well as their control loop block diagrams. The equipment and processes
for gyroscope manufacturing and balancing are considered. Different types of developed
ISON based on HRG are presented, technical characteristics of systems
and sensitive elements are obtained.
