Mozhaisky Military space academy together with the en-terprises of space branch carries out scientific and technological support facilities op-eration of the Baikonur cosmodrome which information and analytical base is condi-tion monitoring of the equipment and constructions of these objects. Results of the analysis of this experience, experience of operation and maintenance of the missile and space equipment at the foreign spaceports, and also studying of the domestic and foreign works devoted to the theory and practice of operation of difficult technical objects are presented in article. These results are issued in the form of a number of conceptual provisions (principles) which, according to authors, have to be the basis for the concept of creation of system of operation of the new spaceports and modernization of the operating. Full realization of these principles is possible only at broad application of modern information technologies at management of operation of objects of the spaceports. Requirements to structure of an automated control system for operation of the spaceport and functional purpose of its subsystems are developed.
