SINGULARITY AUTOMATIC TARGET TRACKING IN AIRCRAFT OBSERVATIONS SYSTEMS |

The question of improving the reliability of automatic tracking (АТ) algorithms ground objects for the television or thermal imaging systems, surveillance aircrafts with possible significant inter-frame images of the object shifts. To restore the AT is proposed to use a global search for the object based on the operational template that allows you to search across the entire image, rather than to a limited search area in the vicinity of the object position, as is done, for example, in the correlation AT algorithms. It is noted that the AT locating algorithms are more capable to re-store the AT due to the fact that the formation of the operational template can be used not only individual features a separate frame, but also features a locating sys-tem configuration, as well as information on the distribution of locatings in the vi-cinity of the object position. There are ways to increase the reliability of the search procedure of the object on the operational template and the results of their experi-mental evaluation. It is shown that the maximum probability of recovery AT process in a significant inter-frame shifts the image object is achieved with the inclusion in the operational template of individual features of locatings, the reference infor-mation about the configuration of the locatings system and the characteristics of the distribution of locatings in the vicinity of the object.
