STABILITY OF THE ELECTRIC ARC PROCESS, CHARACTERISTIC OF PLASMA IGNITION SYSTEM FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINES |
F.A. Gizatullin, R.M. Salikhov, A.Yu. Barabanov, A.R. Salikhova
Solve the problem of the development of computer tools for studying the stability of electric processes in advanced plasma ignition systems that can be used to ignite the fuel-air mixtures in gas turbine engines with the launch of high-altitude without oxygen feeding. Sustainability issues electric processes in the plasma ignition systems known in the scientific literature and are covered insufficiently scientific and practical interest, including from the point of view of minimizing energy consumption in the most stressed conditions of high-altitude launch engines. For the purposes of the study selected the power supply circuit without current stabilization, which limits the possibility of studying processes in plasma plug. In developing a computer simulation model of the system of equations used for the main circuit and the oscillator layout plasma ignition system and the known dependence of the stress in the arc plasma torch on the current and plasma air flow. The developed model is confirmed by the results of experimental studies of the stability of plasma arcing in the spark in a wide range of parameters of the main circuit and the oscillator.
Key words: plasma ignition systems, the stability of the electric arc process, the simulation model.
