Features of the measurement of convergence of space vehicles on the basis of TV images

The features of the measurement parameters convergence spacecraft (SC) based on two-dimensional television (TV) images. The basic goals and tasks to be fulfilled in the formation of TV images of spacecraft. Schemes of airborne and ground measurements variant parameters spacecraft rendezvous. Recently various types of TV images of spacecraft and examined their characteristics in the process of phasing their rap-prochement. Reflected principles of measurement signals, including direct and indirect ways that can be used to implement TV meters. Shows an approach to achieve minimal error ranging spacecraft rendezvous and thus improve the accuracy of measuring the relative speed of their movement with simultaneous measurement range by a few char-acteristic linear dimensions of the spacecraft. The proposed method of measuring dis-tance and the relative velocity of the spacecraft based on parallel computing distances for several well-known a priori linear dimensions of the characteristic elements of the image of spacecraft and use an average of the distances to determine the desired speed will reduce the measurement error of the desired speed. Besides, this method of measurement range and speed of convergence SC has a significant advantage compared with single-channel way. It allows a process of rapprochement SC used to measure parameters of the characteristic elements of the spacecraft as the known and not known dimensions.
