Determination of the angles of yaw and pitch spacecraft television

The features of measuring yaw and pitch approaching spacecraft (SC) using television (TV) methods and means. The angular deviation of the displacement determined by the value of the observed image of spacecraft images in two directions (horizontal and ver-tical), the center of the photodetector TV camera mounted on-board active or passive satellites. The proposed method provides for the implementation of calculating the yaw and pitch of spacecraft when its angular deviation with respect to the observed TV image of another spacecraft does not exceed ± 20. The expressions for the yaw and pitch of spacecraft, as well as an assessment of the relative error of measurement for the three ranges of angular deviation of spacecraft – 0 ... 10, 11 ... 20 or 0 ... 20. Measurement error taken deflection angles were the values that are equal to the first range value Po ≤ 0,59 %, for the second Po ≤ 1,61 % and for the third Po ≤ 2,74 %. Also defines requirements for allowable error in determining the true value of the number of rows (elements) that characterize the angular deviation of the spacecraft in the TV image for a given relative error of yaw and pitch of the active satellites. The advantage of this approach – reducing the amount of time and computing operations while maintaining the specified accuracy (which is especially important in the implementation of the on-board). Due to the simplification computation, the proposed method can be implemented in a simple calculator and is used for example in case of failure of the onboard computer and the transition to stand-alone manual means.
