Computation of the crosstalk
in the electronic unit

А technique intended for using in computer-aided design (CAD) systems when solving the problem of internal electromagnetic compatibility of electronic units is proposed. The problem can be reduced to five-time integration of Green's function for the wave equations which describe the electric and vector magnetic potentials. The representing computational technology is intended for CAD of high dimension projects. The techniques and models are based upon all possible usage of analytical methods which are realized beforehand during the development of the applied CAD software unlike the traditional approach demanding a much greater amount of computation in the process of design simulating. The scientific novelty of the described techniques and models is based upon a modified method of the equivalent propagation constant. According to this method, a solution to the wave equation (i.e., the Green’s function) is described for the layered medium with a formula of the same kind as for the uniform medium. The distribution of the current density and the charge density in the conductor – the source of the electromagnetic field is considered, a techniques of integration within the cross-section of conductors and along the lines of the current are described, the frequency dependence of the optimal step of integration being detected and explored. For the integration along the thickness of the conductors, a special cubature formula is proposed. The approach proposed enables to decrease the amount of the computation if compared to other techniques based upon strict computing the electromagnetic field.
