SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM OF OPTIMAL CONTROL OVER SPATIAL TURN OF A SPACECRAFT |

The problem of optimal control for spacecraft’s spatial reorientation is considered. The functional with the meaning of consumption of the working fluid is minimized. The analytical solution of the formulated problem is received. The optimal decision is found in the class of two-impulse control at which spacecraft turn is executed along the trajectory of "free motion». The original problem of control is reduced to the solution of three problems - acceleration of the spacecraft till the necessary angular momentum, uncontrolled rotation of the spacecraft, and damping of angular speed. For dynamically symmetric spacecraft, the complete solution to the problem of a reorientation is represented in a closed form that allows to use the described method of control into practice. The results of mathematical modeling are presented, demonstrating the practical realizability of the developed algorithm of control.
