THE METHOD OF ELASTIC TRACE IN FORMALIZATION OF SEARCH OF STATIONARY OBJECTS

The paper presents the possibility of a new method of formalizing search problems stationary objects. The method is intended for algorithmic development of automated search systems and is based on a special auxiliary function with the following properties. The auxiliary function implements “elastic” trail over the search area - differentiable profile that follows the movements of the search units (SU) of a given radius, when controlling the search for a stationary point targets with given distributions of coordinates on the plane. In this case, the search for any moment of search the height of a profile equal to a unit over the scanned area with given accuracy, including - over areas of intersections and selfintersections of a search bar controlled SU, and given exactly zero outside the scanned area. As a result, it is able to convert the quality of search criteria of the original problem in the functional quality of search control with a differentiable integrand depending on the management and analytical account of any possible intersections and selfintersections of a search bar, that is to formalize the original problem in the form of a standard optimal control problem. (The behavior of the auxiliary function is given by a differential equation of the first order, connecting it with wires and attached to controlled SU bellshaped function, and allows for the following illustrative comment: The value of function increases “fast enough” from zero to one in contact of given point in the search area at least one SU and decreases “very slow” to the initial after passing SU. This limitation on the rate of increase and decrease are set in bellshaped and supportive “elastic” functions, in this case. Thus the actual quality functional of control of the search depends on the trajectories of SU in the interval search, and - weak - from the time.) Schemes of formalizing of common search problems for fixed point targets, including -- with the risk of death of SU. Discussed problems with free and fixed final coordinates SU. The variants of optimal design search and search for the optimal control in real time is correlated.
