Aerospace Instrument-Making Annotation << Back USE OF A FLEXIBLE PRINTED CABLE FOR PROTECTION OF SPACE BORNE EQUIPMENT AGAINST HIGH FREQUENCY CONDUCTIVE INTERFERENCE E.S. Dolganov, T.R. Gazizov, A.M. Zabolotsky The analysis of inter-block connections of unified electronic modules (UEM) of interface block of on-board control system of modern spacecraft was performed. It was revealed that the specificity of inter-block connections allows using technologic and ground conductors of flexible printed cable (FPC) for protection of UEM against high frequency conductive interference by means of modal filtration. Simulation of propagation in the cable-filter of a nanosecond ultra wide band (UWB) pulse and a high frequency harmonic signal in a wide frequency band was carried out. The time and frequency domain responses was shown and analyzed. Possibility of protection of UEM against UWB pulse by means of the pulse decomposition on half-magnitude pulses was shown on time domain responses, and by means of complete or partial cancellation of the certain frequency harmonic signal – on frequency domain responses.
